Hi! My name is Romi.

My three siblings and I were stray puppies wandering the countryside in Korea. We didn’t know where our mom and dad were, but in May, local residents reported us to the Uljin shelter. Unfortunately, a disease spread through the shelter, and my siblings passed away in their cages. I was the only one who survived, but I lived in constant fear, always curled up in the corner of my kennel, not knowing when euthanasia would come.

One day, a volunteer came to take photos for adoption. They said I looked like an adorable little red fox and gave me some love and attention. It was also the first time I got to taste delicious treats! I wished that moment could last forever, but sadly, I was already on the euthanasia list for September. I wanted so badly to live, but no family came forward to adopt me, and the day I feared was approaching. Then, miraculously, I was rescued just in time and saved from euthanasia.

I was taken to the vet right away, got my health check and vaccinations, and now I’m living with a wonderful foster family. I’m happier and more playful than ever! Everything is new to me—fun toys, walks, and treats. At first, I didn’t know how to play with toys or eat treats, but now I love playing and going on walks. My favorite thing is spending time with my foster family, especially when they pet and play with me.

My foster mom and dad always tell me how sweet and smart I am.

Now, I’m waiting to find my forever family, someone who will love and care for me for the rest of my life.

If you think I’ll be a good fit for your family, please submit an application for adoption!
