Hello, my name is Benjamin! (가을)
I was found living on the streets and taken to a shelter in Uljin, South Korea, after a local resident reported me. I was just a six-month-old puppy at the time, too young to understand the dangers around me. The shelter was overcrowded, and disease spread quickly, but I hadn’t even received my basic vaccinations. Because I was still young, I was spared from the routine euthanasia rounds—for the time being. But every day, I lived in fear, not knowing when my time would come.

Then, the dreaded day approached—my euthanasia date was set. But miraculously, just two days before it was scheduled, I was rescued! I finally received my vaccinations, was neutered, and regained my health. Most importantly, I was finally safe.

After spending time in a foster home in Korea, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime—the chance to find my forever family in the U.S. Last month, I arrived at my foster home in New Jersey, where I’ve been getting ready to meet my perfect match.

Here, I get along wonderfully with the resident dogs, and I love every bit of affection I receive from my foster family. Walks are my absolute favorite, and everyone I meet tells me how handsome and sweet I am! I’m also great in the car, have a healthy appetite, and, of course, I love treats.

Now, I’m ready to take the next step—to find a family who will love me forever. Could that be you😉

-Benjamin
