Hi I am Gu-Reum, and it means “cloud” in Korean.
I am a healthy, strong Jindo mix boy that just went through a heart worm treatment.
I ended up with the Charm aunties because I was “adopted”. Aunties at the shelter washed me and prepped me , and I was so excited to meet my new family! But then my adopters found out I had an early-stage heart worm infection, and they decided they don’t want me anymore.
The shelter I was in has a policy that if an adopted dog is returned to the shelter for any reason, it will be first on the euthanasia list. Aunties at Charm Adopt couldn’t send me back to the shelter knowing this, so they decided to help me get treated.
Long story short, now I am fully cured! I am currently waiting for my 3-months heart worm quarantine period so I can fly to US. Aunties want to find me a forever family in US, because I am considered a large dog in Korea and thus have a harder time finding a home there.
Aunties think I had a rough life before being admitted to the shelter. I am a very gentle dog but also a scaredy cat. I like to hide in corners, and I get easily scared during walks. I let smaller dogs approach me, and I am passive when it comes to socializing with other dogs. I stay calm when strangers touch me, but I don’t like when people touch me when I am eating!
I am currently living with a foster family and even receiving house training! I can’t wait till I meet my forever family.
I would love to meet you and spend my time with you!
