DalBong’s Happy Tail

Dalbong and her two puppies were stray dogs.  When her two puppies were caught, she voluntarily walked into the trap and ended up in a shelter. Although she had an exceptional maternal instinct, both of her children died from a contagious disease in the shelter.

Dalbong stayed in the shelter for two years and was at the top of the list for euthanasia due to her extreme fear. When we saw the picture of her huddled up in a photo for the adoption announcement, we wanted rescue her and adapt her into our family.

When Dalbong came home, the whole family fell in love with her, but she didn't open her heart easily. Dalbong seemed to not know of how to receive love from humans because she had no good memories of people. It was painful and difficult to see her trying to refuse human affection.

But that was our misconception. Dalbong was trying harder than anyone else to get close to her new family. At some point, she allowed us to stroke her body and began to open her heart. After that, Dalbong was completely transformed. She became a lovely dog who loved to walk and would check to see if we were following her during walks, always matching her pace with ours.

Now, Dalbong has become a more lovable companion than anyone else. If we hadn't adopted her, we wouldn't have experienced such a heartwarming and emotional journey. We sincerely thank the CHARM ADOPT team for making this miracle happen!
