Roy @wanderer911

Hi, my name is Roy!

I am a German Shepherd mix boy and weigh 17 lbs (7.7kg). I am 1 year old, neutered and fully vetted.

I was a stray dog, and I was taken to a local shelter. In the shelter, there were hundreds of dogs, like me. Due to lack of budget, many dogs were in the same cage without any safety lock. Since I was too young and small, I was constantly starving, as I was unable to compete against the larger dogs. Even though I tried to survive from a disastrous environment, I got on the euthanasia list on 9/21/2023 and was just called as euthaunasia list number 13.

Thankfully, I was rescued one day prior to the scheduled euthanization. It was like a miracle! I went to see a vet directly, and he said my right back leg bones are bent congenitally. However, there was no problem at all with my walking, running, and living my daily life. (I enjoy walking and running. I am a super healthy puppy!)

I came to San Diego, California, on October 2023 to find my furever family. Thanks to my foster family, I was able to experienced being together with people in a comfy house for the first time in my life. Now I have my dog friends and human sister. I really love to play with them. Especially, I feel happiest when I walk with my foster parents and sleep all together in the same bed.

Now I know how to enjoy smelling grass, flowers, trees while I take a walk. Also, I learned how to be friends with other dogs. Oh! I love treats as well! My foster mom always applauds me that I am very sweet, smart, and gentle. I am ready to meet my new furever family.
If you want to be my family, please submit an application.

Can’t wait to meet you!

-Roy
