Hi! My name is Suzy.

I was a mommy dog in a puppy mill. After I had babies several times, I was abandoned because I became sick. When I wandered around random houses to look for food, someone found and reported me to animal control, so I was taken to the Uljin local shelter.

When I arrived at the shelter, I was relieved because I do not need to have more babies in there. However, I realized that if I cannot find a new family within 15 days of arrival, I will be placed on the euthanasia list. Sadly, I was not adopted in time and was about to be subjected to euthanasia in October 2024. Every day there was full of fear and anxiety because I had no idea what would happen next to me.

Thankfully, I was rescued with my roommate, Pepper, who was in the same kennel with me. Furthermore, Pepper’s new family decided to foster me until I found my forever family. When I got a regular check, the vet said I am very skinny, and the condition of my teeth and knees are not good like other puppy mill mom dogs are. Recently I had a big surgery for fixing my teeth and knee issues, and thanks to sincere love and care of my foster family, I am recovering very well! My foster parents say I am a sweet, smart, and goofy dog. I love to walk with my foster family and play with Pepper as well! I have a good relationship with people and dog friends.
